- If using the school mac's: imovie or quicktime pro 7

- Digital Video Camera for recording a lesson in class. Any Model costing around $300

Possible uses for Vodcasting in Schools by Teachers
- Teachers can record and upload their lessons to the school portal. The students can then watch and listen to the missed lesson if absent on the day or revise a lesson at their convenience by downloading it to their ipod or video player.
- Teachers can prepare quick video tutorials for their students or other staff for the purpose of teaching new or existing software packages.
- Students could record and post project video interviews which could be automatically downloaded to a teacherĂs laptop or video player for marking via a Learning Management System. Students could even swap these with peers for peer review before turning in the final form to the teacher.
